About Kartographie Huber

Kartographie Huber is Germany‘s market-leading provider of customer-oriented cartography, and one of the largest cartography companies worldwide, providing all map and geographic-related services, and itself publishing the world‘s most printed map.

Among its many clients are the European Commission and most every well-known name in European publishing as well as several worldwide. Founded in 1969 in Munich, it has joined the Kingdom of Bahrain‘s ICON with offices in Manama. It has around 100 employees in nine subsidiaries across Europe, the Middle East and Asia. Its patents include many cartographic industry standards.

 

Besides all aspects of cartography and GIS, the company is at home in the field of regional development, and has lead several European Union projects.

 

In 2009 Cartography Huber celebrated its forty year anniversary and in November won the award Bavarian Exporter of the Year (Google Translation) from the Bavarian Ministry of Economic Affairs, Infrastructure, Transport and Technology and the Bavarian Chambers of Industry and Commerce.
