Assisting the oil and gas industry with services based on space technology: Land subsidence detection & monitoring, mapping & virtual reality.
Ensuring the safety and security of the wellheads and the pipelines has become increasingly important as global demand in oil and gas grows and environmental concerns play an ever increasing role.

Our methodology is to analyse satellite radar data withDifferential Interferometry (DiffSAR or IPTA – InterferometricPoint Target Analysis), capable to detect subtle changes of the surface geometry (accuracy in the mm to cm range). Data is available since 1991 and continuously for real-time monitoring. Our key concept is detecting subsidencesresulting from exploitation activities or natural geo-processes,and monitoring their impact to the well fields and pipelines to prevent possible damage.
Mapping & Virtual Reality: The user has the possibility to freely navigate within a virtual world. The virtual terrain based on an in-house available global digital elevationmodel and optical satellite data or aerial photos offers an excellent basis for pipeline planning. Investors and decision makers can be better informed and convinced. Screenshots of the virtual reality are suited for newsmedia publications and project status reports.
Subsidence products such as annual deformation rate in monitoring mode or historic data analysis are provided. The correlation of subsidence with extracted amounts is visualised in modelling. The results can be exported asmaps or GIS-layers.
Satellite or aerial imagery combined with cartography also makes for beautiful maps - like this one created for our partners in Tripoli, Libya.
